industry of southern Illinois.
For the past 4 years I have owned and
operated a bed and breakfast cottage, which requires Internet correspondence
and bookkeeping.
From
1992-2000 I worked as a substitute teacher in public schools.
I am a piano teacher and have raised
six boys, changed 13,140 diapers,
washed 16,000 loads laundry, prepared 18,250 meals, watched 690 soccer games,
have taken kids to 838 soccer practices, 216 dental appointments, 300 Boy Scout
meetings, played piano for 1100 church meetings, asked “Who did that?” 33,973
times and heard “not me” six times that number. Have been presented with 697
bouquets consisting of an uncountable number of varieties of “flowers” ranging
from dandelions to horseweeds.

I am a founding member of the Southernmost IL Agri-Tourism Alliance
In
the summer of 1999 I directed a girl’s camp leading a group of 68 young women
and leaders.
I
am presently serving as the president of the women’s organization at my church.
